A total of five ski resorts with 196 kilometres of ski slopes are yours on your winter holiday in the Zillertal - ski them all with just one ski pass available at the hotel reception. Queueing up on your ski holiday in the Zillertal is a thing of the past! You can also say “Auf Wiedersehen” to long journeys: in just one minute, our ski bus takes you to the Finkenberger Almbahnen lift, your gateway to the Skiwelt Zillertal 3000. We’ll be happy to service your skis upon request (for a fee) and help you book ski lessons or hire ski equipment.
A variety of ski trails for everyone
On your next winter holiday in the Zillertal look forward to trails that are not only in excellent shape, but that also offer the perfect challenge for all skiers. Fans of leisurely skiing and sunskiers, for example, will become regulars of the Rastkogel sunny plateau on their ski holiday in the Zillertal, while adrenaline junkies will love the Betterpark in Hintertux and the Vans-Funpark on the Penken. And what can we say about the “Harakiri”, Austria’s steepest ski slope (with an incline of 78 %!!) and the legendary “Schwarze Pfanne” on the Hintertux Glacier?!
A total of 65 modern lifts take you reliably and quickly up the mountains - but be careful: the views of the Zillertal from the lift or cable car are so great you might just forget to get off!
Only heaven is higher - the Hintertux Glacier
Just 13 km from our hotel in the Zillertal is the jewel of the Skiwelt Zillertal 3000: on the Hintertux Glacier winter athletes can have fun in all four seasons at an altitude of up to 3,250 metres. From October to May, this glacier ski resort is a dream not only for skiers. Cross-country skiing, sledging and snowshoe hiking in this healthy high-altitude air are a real treat!
Before, after, or instead of - activities off the slopes
On the glacier, just as in the valley: winter holidays in Zillertal are fun off the slopes too! From cross-country skiing and sledging to winter hiking and Bavarian curling: we have a great selection of winter activities. We recommend a trip to the 1,000 m²-large play arena for days when the kids don’t want to go out in the snow!
