We are a true Zillertal Wanderhotel (hiking hotel) and member of the Zillertal Nature Park. That means you can participate in guided hikes for free. But that’s not all: you can also take excellent excursions in the mountains. How about llama trekking, an exciting treasure hunt in the Alps or geocaching? Hikes with children during your family holidays are especially exciting if your youngsters can experience something along the trails and one or the other riddle waits to be solved.
Hiking service for your active holidays in the Zillertal Alps
Plus you can borrow free hiking sticks at the hotel and three times a week we will prepare a small hiking snack for you so that you will always have enough energy for your mountain trips. You can take the public bus from the main street to Tux for free and from there you can start many other great hikes. Cool off in the Finkenberg swimming pool - this is also a free treat for guests of the Hotel Aussicht in the Zillertal valley!
Huts in the Zillertal valley
No matter if it is the goal of a hike or a welcome stop to take a rest from the exertion: In the alpine huts of the Zillertal valley, cosiness and hearty cuisine are celebrated. The summer mountain huts are open from May (or from June for those in high altitude) to October (sometimes to September). Indulge yourself with a delicious kaiserschmarrn or a hearty soup and enjoy your pause at the hut in the Zillertal valley in Austria.
